The Admissions during 2016 and 2017 a total 7200 and 5300 applications were received for (50) seats through online respectively, the average cut off marks were 98% for both batches for the all categories. The 3rd batch and 4th batch course has began from August, 2018 and 2019 respectively the Admissions were done on basis of TS EAMCET ranks. The annual fee is Rs. 25000/- and the students are getting scholarship reimbursement from Social Welfare Department.

The Admissions are taken for the year 2016-17 and 2017-18 based on merit of Intermediate / 10+2 level.

The Admissions for 2018,2019 were done on the basis of TS-EAMCET Ranks only as per the Government G.O.Ms.No.5 HIGHER EDUCATION (TE) Department, Dated: 23-02-2018.

Forest College and Research Institute,Hyderabad is established in 2016 with the objective of providing professional forestry education for the first time in the state of Telangana. In order to fulfill the Institute’s mandates of achieving higher standards in education, research and extension in Forestry, the Masters programme in Forestry is successfully introduced from this academic year 2020-21 onwards. The Institute has recently received accreditation with A+ grade from ICFRE, the highest council for forestry research and education in the Country.
